Terms and community rules

Effective October 22, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Abdullah Morsi, who makes Zikra ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Zikra, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Using Zikra

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use apps like this where you live.
Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Each account is for one person. Don't use someone else's account or pretend to be someone else.

2. Your content

You own the photos, videos, voice notes and words you add to Zikra. You give us permission to store them, process them and show them to the people you choose: your partner, the couple friends you share with, or everyone using Zikra for photos and ideas you add to date ideas. We use this permission only to run Zikra.

When you share something outside your album, you confirm that you have the right to share it, including the OK of anyone clearly shown in it.

3. Community rules

Zikra has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. When you share anything with other couples, don't post:

nudity or sexual content
hate speech, harassment, bullying or threats
violence, gore, or anything that encourages self-harm
illegal activity, drug use or dangerous behavior
other people's private information, or photos of people who didn't agree to be shared
spam, ads, scams or anything misleading
anything you don't have the rights to share

We remove content that breaks these rules, and we suspend or permanently ban the people who post it.

4. Keeping Zikra safe

Photos and words shared outside your album are checked automatically. Anything that may break the rules is held or hidden until a person reviews it.
You can report any shared photo, post or date idea, and block any couple, right in the app.
We review reports within 24 hours, remove anything that breaks these rules, and ban the users responsible.

5. Date ideas

Date ideas are suggestions. Places, hours and prices change, so check before you go, and look after your own safety. Photos in our idea library come from Wikimedia Commons and belong to their creators, under the licenses credited in the app.

6. Our app

Zikra, its design and its idea library belong to us. Don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or overload the app, or try to get into other people's accounts or data.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Us → Delete my account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.

8. No guarantees

We work hard to keep your memories safe, but Zikra is provided "as is", and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything you can't replace. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to $50.

9. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. If you downloaded Zikra from the App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement also applies.

10. The law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA, except where the law where you live says otherwise.

11. Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top, and let you know in the app for important changes. Questions? Email abdullah.morsi0@gmail.com.
